Since the commencement of operation Tallinn Shipyard has gone through various expansions.
Our predecessor Russian Baltic Shipyard was probably the most advanced new building shipyard in the Russia when it was established in 1912. After World War II the company focused on repairs of warships, then, in the 70s and 80s, on repairs of fishing vessels.
In 1996 the company was privatized. In the present form Tallinn Shipyard was formed in the June of 2000. Following a long tradition of Ship repairing Tallinn Shipyard brought in a new style of management.
