Viking Line catamaran FSTR gained its new look at the BLRT Grupp shipyard
On April 10, the Viking Line FSTR catamaran started to run on a regular service between Tallinn and Helsinki after its coloring was brought into compliance with the design of the Finnish shipping company at BLRT Grupp shipyard in Tallinn.
Arriving to the dock inspection, the color of the ship differs from the traditional colors of the company. During the stay at the shipyard, the boards of the catamaran were repainted in Viking Line corporate colors - white and red. In addition, repair of the pipelines and stern ramp was completed and the stabilizer, which influences the stability of the vessel, was repaired.
A 91 meters long and 26 meters wide catamaran accommodates about 850 passengers and 120 cars. The catamaran will run on a regular service between Tallinn and Helsinki between April 10 and October 22.
Viking Line is a partner of BLRT Grupp since 2003. Passenger ships of the company regularly undergo repairs, maintenance and modernization at the shipyards of the BLRT Group in Tallinn and Turku.
